Rev. Steve Stutz

Rev. Steve Stutz serves as pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pasadena, TX, a parish working through the process of renewal for the next generation of its ministry in southeast Texas. Steve began work there six years ago after having served a small town congregation in Big Spring, Texas and before that being a commissioned office in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He holds an M.Div from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO and is currently a D.Min student with Christian Leadership University. Steve is a trained spiritual director under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and conducts parish missions on prayer, contemplative spirituality, dreamwork, and the church’s healing ministry. He is endorsed for chaplaincy work and was on contract with the Veterans Administration for hospital work in his previous parish. He enjoys preaching, teaching, running the Alpha Course, and having a good laugh. He is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. Steve and his wife, Krista have been married 18 yrs. and they have three teenaged daughters.
