Ellen Noble Mallay has been in the financial planning field since 1996. Her practice focuses on retirement and estate
planning for individuals, building long-term relationships with her clients. She also helps executives and business owners
meet their financial goals. Ellen utilizes life insurance, annuities, long term care insurance, disability income insurance,
employer sponsored life, qualified and non-qualified business retirement plans, group medical plans, individual health care
plans, comprehensive financial plans for business owners and executives, and a full range of securities to help solve her
clients’ problems and meet their objectives. Ellen implements and services the customized plans and programs established
for her clients.
Ellen is a Career Agent with Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., an Investment Advisor Representative with Lincoln Financial
Advisors, a Broker/dealer. She has completed the following NASD exams, Series 7 (General Securities Registered
Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law). Ellen is a licensed Securities Broker in the states of
Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, & Wisconsin.
Ellen has been a member of the Houston Association of Life Underwriters and a member of the National Association of Insurance
and Financial Advisors since 1996. In February 1997, Ellen won the prestigious GAMA Climbers Award sponsored by the Houston
General Agents and Managers Association. Ellen qualified for Lincoln Financial Advisors’ Career Club and President’s Club in
1997. She qualified for Lincoln Financial Advisors’ President’s Club and President’s Cabinet in 1998 - 2003. In 2002 and 2003
she qualified for the honor of Top of Cabinet. In 2004 & 2005, Ellen qualified for Chairman’s Council, Lincoln Financial
Advisor’s Top performing group of Financial Planners. In 2000 through 2005, Ellen has qualified for membership in the Million
Dollar Round Table. Since 2000 she has been a member of the Scudder Investments Executive Council and the Oppenheimer Preferred
Partner Program. In 2002 Ellen was named a member of the American Funds "All-American Team" in recognition of financial expertise
and dedication to the principles of sound investing. Ellen came to this industry after sixteen years as a Legal Assistant.
Ellen was among the first group of Legal Assistants who participated in the Legal Assistants Specialty Certification Program
created by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1993. She received Board Certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization
as a Legal Assistant in the specialty area of Family Law in 1994 and in Personal Injury Trial Law in 1995.
Ellen received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in Home Economics, and a minor
emphasis in Business. She is a native Houstonian and a lifetime member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. She is active
in numerous ministries of the Church and was recently elected to the 2006 Vestry. She is a member of the Board of Alpha Houston,
The Covenant House Guild and a past member and officer of The Blue Bird Circle. She is married, the mother of five children and
has one grandchild.
